Document Description
The Project will construct a new pumping station at the existing SMD 3 WWTP site to convey influent flows from the SMD 3 collection system to the SMD 2 trunk sewer. A 10-iin force main will be constructed along an alignment within the Auburn-Folsom Road right of way to convey the raw wastewater to a new tie in point with the existing SMD 2 trunk sewer at a County owned property on the southwest corner of the intersection with Twin Rocks Road. Once the pumping station has been commissioned the existing SMD 3 WWTP will be decommissioned and the unused portions will be demolished. The existing rapid sand filter at the SMD 3 WWTP will be converted into an equalization tank.
