Document Description
The proposed project is the redevelopment of a 2.91-acre site with 193 one-and two-bedroom market-rate apartment residential units in two four-story buildings over a one-to two-level subterranean and partially subterranean garage podium. The project would include common areas and courtyards, and new landscaping and infrastructure. The existing development on the site, including a 60-room motel, an ~4,000 sf restaurant, a 1,600 sf commercial building, parking lots, and landscaping would be demolished for development of the project. The proposed project would amend the General Plan designation of the site from Linear Commercial/Residential to High-Density Residential, and would rezone the site from the CRA: Commercial/Residential Arterial zoning district to a to a Planned Community (P) zoning district.
