Document Description
Establishment of a mariculture operation at an existing pier facility and adjacent uplands. Uplands facility: Construction of a 150 sf one story storage shed adjacent to the pier landing; Construction of a seed washing system, consisting of a 5,040 gallon water storage tank, and a sloped slab and sump system for treating seed prior to shipment off site; Upgrades to the existing access road and parking area. Marine components: Securing up to nine floating upwelling systems (FLUPSYs) and three nursery rafts in Berth 2; Securing a walkway/gangplank to the pier for access to the water; Renovating the existing structures on the pier to serve as a seed setting facility and office, storage and crew space, installing a 1 ton cable crane on the pier.
