Document Description
A Use Permit application to expand an existing large winery crushing operation from 140,000 tons of grapes to 200,000 tons of grapes in three phases over five years. Phase One to include a new refrigeration station with a 2,142 s.f. canopy, new 6,053 s.f. centrifuge canopy, new 357 s.f. filter canopy, remodel existing warehouse for new barrel storage area tank farms and fermenting tanks and upgrade waste water system and management operations of processed waste water for vineyard irrigation. Phase Two include (4) four new refrigeration plants with 2,142 s.f. canopy, relocate existing receiving and crushing area, new 24,936 s.f. maintenance shop building, new 50,000 gallon water tank, new 6,000 s.f. cellar processing building, tank farms and fermenting tanks. Phase Three to include a new 16,428 s.f. employee lounge building, the conversion of an existing warehouse bottling area into an employee office area and receiving and ingredient warehouse, tank farms and fermenting tanks. This property is not under a Williamson Act contract. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40 -acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture).
