Document Description
A CUP to allow an agricultural trucking facility (Section 19.12.030.A) in an A (Exclusive Agriculture) District. The proposed staging yard will have 10 - 15' x 70' parking spaces for trucks and trailers, 12 - 10' x 20' parking spaces for employees, and a 1,000 s.f. maintenance shop. The property has an existing single-family residence that is occupied by the business owner and will serve as a home office. As proposed, the trucking facility will serve as a staging yard for ten diesel trucks with trailers transporting interstate agricultural products. The business is expected to have ten truck drivers and two mechanics working in the maintenance shop. Drivers will typically arrive at 8 a.m. to pick up a truck and will work off site between three to seven days a week transporting freight.
