Document Description
The project is a roadway improvement project that encompasses Planning Design Guidelines, 30% Engineering Design Plans, and environmental studies for a 14.2 mile section of Historic U.S. Hwy 99 extending from Fowler to Kingsburg. The Golden State Corridor Design Manual provides basic guidelines that promote quality design along the Golden State Boulevard connecting the cities of Fowler, Selma, and Kingsburg, CA in Fresno County. The Engineering Design Plans have been prepared to a 30% level of engineering design. Conceptual landscaping and preliminary drainage plans have also been designed. The objective of the Engineering Design Plans is to convey design concepts and details to stakeholders and provide the ability for the impacts of the proposed improvements to be determined.
