Document Description
Proposal to allow for a 4 megawatt photovoltaic solar power generation facility, occupying 20 acres of AE land. The project would be constructed in phases and operate for a period of 35 years. The project will employ photovoltaic modules that convert sunlight directly into electrical energy without use of heat transfer fluid or cooling water. The facility will deliver the electrical, alternating current, output of the project to the existing regional transmission system. Part of the processing this application will include a proposed code amendment to the Victorville Municipal Code allowing solar electrical power generation in the AE zoning district as a conditional use.
