Document Description
The proposed project would provide for exterior landscape improvements at each of the Small Learning Communities (SLCs) and ADA upgrades. The SLCs include the Health and Medical Career SLC; School of Humanities SLC; Science for Global Solutions SLC, and the Law Business and Government SLC. Improvements at each of the SLCs include replacing the existing landscape with new drought resistant landscape along with new irrigation systems, outdoor seating furniture, kioks, banner poles, and supergraphic logos. These improvements would entail some demolition, including the removal of existing asphalt/concrete and some minor grading/earthwork such as trenching for installation of the irrigation systems. The primary purpose of the proposed project is to provide outdoor study areas for students throughout the campus and to comply with the provisions of the American with Disabilities Act.
