Document Description
Using only state funds the California Department of Transportation will repair the void created by erosion under the outlet of a concrete box culvert on Willow Creek where it crosses I-5 in Siskiyou County. Approximately 40 cubic yards of 1/2-ton rock slope protection (RSP) will be installed below the front edge of the outlet apron and another 20 cubic yards of high slump (thick) grout will fill the void behind the new (RSP) underneath the apron. The entire area of impact within the cannel will be approximately 276 feet. No excavation is planned for either the RSP installation or the grout work.
