The second is to use the project as a training opportunity for those being certified as B-Faller and C-Faller. This project will be into the existing Bradbury Fuels Reduction Project thus increasing protection for both cities. The project will primarily involve the selective trimming and removal of non-native eucalyptus trees less than 12" diameter over an area of approximately 16 acres. The trainee's being certified for the B-Faller and C-Faller will fall 15-20 B size trees (12-24" DBH) and 5-15 C size trees (24" DBH or greater). Large eucalyptus trees will be left to protect scenic values for adjacent homeowners. The cut material will be chipped or pile burned on site; or bucked and removed from the site.
