Document Description
Ordinance 981 of the City of Larkspur amends the Zoning Ordinance of the Larkspur Municipal Code regarding the zoning and approval of emergency shelters and transitional and supportive housing, in compliance with State Housing Law and the Housing Element of the Larkspur General Plan. The Ordinance amends the Administrative and Professional Zoning District and Planned Development Districts where A-P uses are permitted to allow emergency shelters as a permitted use, subject to development and management standards established in the Ordinance as allowed by State Law. The Ordinance is intended to ensure emergency housing services may be provided to the City's unsheltered homeless population and ensure compatibility between emergency shelters and the surrounding community.
