Document Description
The purpose of this project is to repair erosion damage from 2010 winter storms. Excessive rainfall caused a slope failure immediately below three Edison poles between two trails at Crystal Cove State Park - approximately 1800 square feet. Edison's contractor will brush the access route to the poles, currently overgrown with native and ruderal vegetation. The brushing crew will remove only enough vegetation to provide equipment and vehicular access to the site. The contractor will stabilize the slide area to prevent future slides. Erosion fabric will be installed on the slide area, a native seed mix will be distributed throughout the site and native plants will be installed. The plants will be hand watered by the park until they have become established.
