Document Description
Santa Barbara will provide up to 3,000 acre-feet of its approved 2011 SWP water to Dudley Ridge Water District (DRWD) which will be subsequently delivered to Kern County Water Agency (KCWA) turnouts in Reaches 12E and 13B of the California Aqueduct. An existing agreement among DWR, DRWD and KCWA (SWPAO #08050) allows the delivery of DRWD's approved SWP water supplies to KCWA's turnouts in Reaches 12E and 13B of the California Aqueduct. In exhange, DRWD will return two-thirds, less losses, of the total amount delivered to DRWD of its future approved SWP water to Santa Barbara by December 31, 2021.
