Document Description
The project is limited to use of both a track mounted geotechnical drilling rig and hand operated auger to drill eight geological core samples in the channel bed upstream and down stream of the Mormon Slough Bridge in order to assess bank and bed stability. This is necessary in order to formulate an appropriate corrective action plan to prevent further bank erosion near the bridge. All core holes drilled by the drlling rig will be backfilled using an inert bentonite clay slurry.
