Document Description
Replace the degraded composition roof and metal flashings on the 50,000 gallon water tank to maintain public health standards for potable water storage; and install a new 4 inch waterline and hydrant to provide fire agency connection. Work will remove the degraded roofing materials and install new 50 year composite shingles with flashings; excavate a trench 16 inches wide by 32 inches deep and 300 feet long, place a 4 inch waterline in the trench, install a new 4 foot high galvanized hydrant and backfill trench with compacted native soils; and excavate 3 holes 12 inches wide by 24 inches deep and pour concrete to install bollards to protect the hydrant.
