Document Description
Installation of a new, two-chambered storm drain vault fitted with a conventional flap gate between the chambers to prevent back flow of tidal surge into an existing 18-inch stormdrain from an existing stormdrain outfall at Richardson's Bay. The project will reduce or eliminate high-frequency tidal flooding in the stormdrain catchment immediately upstream benefitting public and private properties in the area, public safety, health, road access, local business operations and the quality of water reaching Richardson's Bay.
