Document Description
The Project consists of vegetation clearing at 10 stream crossings along a 2.7-mile portion of the San Ardo Gas Pipeline to comply with Federal gas line leakage survey requirements (49 CFR 192.706). The purpose of vegetation clearing is to allow and maintain line of sight inspection of facilitate bi-weekly air patrols, as required by Department of Transportation regulations. Currently, vegetation along the pipeline alignment is highly overgrown, preventing leakage survey equipment from being properly operated over the pipeline.
