Document Description
The project is Phase 1 of a geothermal exploration and assessment in the Wilbur Hot Springs area in Colusa County. Phase 1 includes grant administrative activities along with existing data and literature review and non-drilling field data collection activities, including field mapping, soil and water sampling and testing, and geophysical surveys. The project will evaluate existing open-filed records and public-domain geologic and geophysical data, along with the new data generated, to complete conceptual models, maps, and information on the area geology and geothermal characteristics to better determine future exploration approaches.
