Document Description
The work to be accomplished consists of drilling not more than 25 borings within the levee prism and levee toe. The main access to the levee and levee toe sites will be from the levee road and adjacent streets. Two types of explorations are proposed: Sonic drillings and rotary was drilling. The exploration will start in November 2011 and will be completed in January 2012. The project is necessary to complete a feasibility study that is being conducted by the Army Corps of Engineers the non-federal sponsor.
