Document Description
FYI Notice is hereby given that the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) has issued a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), signed on July 12, 2012, determining that the proposed trust acquisition of approximately 6 acres (Mendocino County APN# 165-050-011, 165-050-012, 165-050-013, 165-050-014, and 165-050-015) by the United States for the Coyote Valley Band of the Pomo Indians (Tribe) for tribal housing and a gas station/mini-mart will not result in significant effects to the quality of the human environment. Therefore, an Environmental Impact Statement is not required. The BIA's determination is based upon the analysis in the EA, consideration of comments received during the public review period (November 9, 2011 through December 19, 2011), and the implementation of mitigation measures.
