Document Description
The operator proposes to install a 54-inch diameter pipeline to replace the existing 54-inch diameter pipeline for a 700-foot segment. The existing pipeline will be removed using open-trench techniques to 16 foot depth bgs and 30 foot width. A temporary cofferdam will be constructed upstream and water pumped/gravity fed through the work area and back into the culvert below the project. The new pipeline will extend under and perpendicular to a box culvert conveying an unnamed tributary to Colma Creek. An 18 foot wide by 21 foot long portion of the box culvert will be replaced in-kind. The trench will be backfilled and revegetated. The CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2013-0295-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Mr. Husam Masri, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
