The project includes: (1) dewatering the construction area by constructing temporary earthen cofferdams upstream and downstream across the channel with a connecting pipe; (2) installation of a temporary bridge and approach road; (3) removal of the existing bridge decking, piers and abutments; (4) construction of a new replacement bridge; and (5) placement of approximate 6,600 s.f. rock slope protection, revegetation of grading and disturbed areas, and replacement of removed trees.
