The Colusa County Department of Public Works proposes to replace an existing substandard bridge with a new bridge. Lenahan Road is a 22-foot wide chip sealed road. The new bridge will be 95-feet long and 35-feet wide and constructed of concrete and steel. Bridge approaches and the existing roadway will be improved within the existing maintained roadway prism (base roadway elevation, to outer edge of shoulder, to apex of road surface). Bridge abutments. The new bridge will better serve local farmers, emergency service providers, and the public in general through year around access and increased roadway capacity.
