Document Description
A Rezone of the property from C-H to Professional and Institutional (PI), to be consistent with the property's General Plan Land Use Designation (I-OI); A Development Plan (DP) to construct a new 6,183-s.f. two-story mosque and a 2,230-s.f. mechanical basement for the Islamic Center of Santa Barbara and to provide project-specific development standards; with requested modification to waive the requirement for a landscape strip or fence along a portion of the northwest, north and northeast (diagonal) property lines, to allow parking within the front and side yard setbacks, and if necessary, a modification to reduce the number of onsite parking spaces to extend the length of the site's driveway throats; and a Minor Conditional Use Permit to allow a 1,389-s.f. residence for the Islamic Center's Imam.
