Document Description
The proposed Project is a used oil recycling facility and California designated hazardous waste collection facility. The facility would be able to process up to 1,500,000 gallons of used oil per month. Other California designated hazardous wastes received, in much smaller quantities, would include waste antifreeze, non-RCRA wastewater, and oil-contaminated solid waste. Federal hazardous wastes and non hazardous wastes would not be received and stored at the site as part of the Project. The major components of the proposed facility include: two new, three total, truck unloading/loading bays and epoxy-coated Visqueen-lined steel rebar reinforced concrete sumps; tank containment areas with epoxy-coated Visqueen-lined steel rebar reinforced concrete slabs; and twelve new, fourteen total, 20,000-gallon storage tanks (some with multiple compartments).
