Document Description
The Project consists of the modification of up to two existing agricultural irrigation wells for use as drinking water wells or the construction of up to two new drinking water wells along the proposed pipeline alignment, along with pumping plants, electrical service, backup generator, controls, associated pipeline and appurtenances. In addition, a coagulation/filtration and treatment plant with evaporation ponds would be constructed to remove iron and manganese from the water to secondary standard requirements. Up to two new agricultural irrigation wells are proposed to replace the District's agricultural water supply lost from converting wells from an agricultural to drinking water supply.
