Document Description
The proposed project would consist of a new parking lot on two separate sites on Mills Avenue north of Mount Baldy Road. The North Lot would contain 137 vehicular parking spaces (including five handicapped spaces), bike racks, a hitching post, "port-a-potty" restrooms, and a police buggy storage building to house an off road vehicle belonging to the Claremont Police Department that would be used to respond to incidents in the CHWP. The South Lot would contain 178 vehicular parking spaces (including 6 handicapped spaces and one space reserved for the park ranger), bike racks, a hitching post, a restroom building, and an equipment area enclosure. The project would essentially be an expansion of existing parking facilities serving the CHWP, and is intended to better accommodate existing parking and use demands.
