Document Description
CDFW is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code (#1600-2016-0166-R5). This proposed project involves restoration of the coastal lagoon as described under Alternative 1B in the EIR., including dredging, filling, creation of nesting habitat and disposal of sand from the central basin and refilling the basin with fine sediments and capping those materials with a layer of sand. The Project will result in temporary impacts to 28.1 acres of coastal marsh, 1.5 acres of salt pan, 5.1 acres of southern willow scrub, and 39.6 acres of open water.
