Document Description
Under the federal Clean Air Act (CAA), Section 182(b)(2)(A), the District is required to implement Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) for emission source categories that are covered by a Control Techniques Guideline (CTG) issued by United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). In this action, the District adopted a negative declaration for the following CTG: "Coating Operations at Aerospace Manufacturing and Rework Operations (U.S. EPA Publication No. EPA-453/R-97-004, December 1997)." The negative declaration, stating that there are no sources within the District to which this CTG applies, will satisfy the District's requirements under the federal CAA.
