Document Description
IS-2 (Operational indirect Source Rule) is a proposed control measure which the District committed to adopt in the 2009 Sacramento Regional 8-Hour Ozone and Reasonable Further Progress Plan (Plan). Indirect source emissions from operation of new land use development projects. In this action, the District removes the proposed control measure from the Plan because of the following factors: (i) the control measure would impose a regulatory burden without any certainty that the District will receive any benefit from imposition of the measure through the SIP; and (ii) the goals of the proposed control measure that may be achieved through land use design improvements occurring as a result of other statutory and regulatory drivers.
