Document Description
The Project consists of a repair of a slope failure to stabilize the nearby retaining wall. The landslide is approximately 70 feet wide and extends approximately 70 feet down the slope towards Struve Slough. A keyway will be constructed at the toe of the slide and the remainder of the slide will be re-graded to a 3:1 slope. The fill at the keyway of the landslide will be reinforced with horizontally placed steel welded wire grid and the remainder of the slope will be reinforced with geo-fibers. Willow staking with locally collected material will occur to replace the slide at the base of the project area. The repair site will be accessed by a temporary 10-foot wide earth road beginning at the northerly end of Willowcreek Street and running along the retaining wall to the landslide. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2011-0198-R3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
