Document Description
The project involves approval of the Removal Action Workplan by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) pursuant to the requirements of Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.5, section 25187 and 25200.14. Davis Wire Corporation is proposing to conduct soil removal action at the site to mitigate potential risks and hazards to human health and environment from chemicals at three Areas of Concern. The removal action involves excavation and offsite disposal of soil impacted with total petroleum hydrocarbons and metals to meet industrial/commercial risk based cleanup goals. It is anticipated that a Land Use Convenant will be placed on the property restricting land use to commercial/industrial.
