The proposed restoration work, which comprises approximately five acres, includes: 1) covering off-highway vehicle trails with an erosion control material such as wood straw, rice straw, or rice wattles; 2) scarifying and seeding OHV areas with native locally collected seed; 3) installation of vehicle barriers (fencing, gates, etc.); and 4) monitoring any illegal OHV use after completion of the restoration work.
