Document Description
The CA ARNG is proposing to construct and operate a Motor Transport Operators Course (88M) at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA. The purpose of this course is to provide soldiers with the knowledge, skills, and ability to function as motor transport operators and to safely maneuver tactical wheeled vehicles under varying conditions, including convoy operations. The entire project includes trail rehabilitation, armoring several stream and spring crossings, out sloping, installation of rolling dips, trail re-alignment, berm removal, gully repair, and installation of rock weir sedimentation traps. The construction phase of the proposed action would improve approximately 2.5 miles of an existing trail network, in Training Area H, between Guard Hill and Range Road.
