Document Description
The proposed maintenance dredging will remove a maximum of 700 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from the dock area and restore operational depth at the facility. A mechanical dredge with a closed dredging bucket will be used to remove accumulated sediment along the dock face and beneath bucket will be used to remove accumulated sediment along the dock face and beneath the dock. Dredged material will be transported by a barge with a long reach bucket excavator and disposed of three miles downriver to Winter Island. Dredged material will be used to rehabilitate and maintain levees on Winter Island.
