Document Description
Repair and repaint the degenerated areas in the front portion of the Eagle Cotage at Columbia State Historic Park to increase visual aesthetics of the front of the building and increase visitor safety. Work will restore or replace windows, doors, sills, jambs; broken window panes; remove paint buildup on the parapet moldings and refasten the existing material; repaint the front of the building; and rebuild old dilapidated fence. Excavate three 1' L X 1' W X 18" D holes; insert 36" high posts; fill holes with concrete for stability; and attach horizontal and vertical flute and bead pickets to cap rail and bottom rail to create the existing fence pattern. All work will be done "in-kind" to retain the historic look of this structure and will be photo documented.
