Document Description
The project includes removal of small and large debris such as trash and wood at five locations along 1,960 linear feet of Jameson Canyon Creek. The accumulated debris has resulted in substantial flooding on two adjacent residential properties. Most debris will be removed manually using hand tools. Larger items will be removed using a long-reach excavator located a minimum of 10 feet from the edge of the channel. Dead and live tree limbs may also be removed from the channel. No live trees will be removed. Disturbed areas will be seeded with creeping wildrye and planted with willow poles. The total revegetation area will be approximately 8,711 s.f. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2011-0315-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
