Document Description
The project involves improvements to an existing park trail on Pig's Lake and an addition of 725 feet of new trails leading to two river vistas. The new riverfront trail will encircle much of Pigs Lake, a two-acre pond adjacent to the river that provides habitat for a variety of wildlife. In addition, portions of the new trail and the renovated trail will be elevated slightly to improve views from the trails and prevent trail erosion and standing water in the Nature Area that occurs when high water levels in Pigs Lake spill into the park's low-lying areas.
