Document Description
The proposed project involves installation by the City of Wasco of a new monument sign on State property proximate to the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 46 and Jumper Avenue in Wasco, California. The dimensions of the proposed "Welcome to Wasco" sign will be approximately 18 feet long by 10 feet high. The sign will be 2.2 feet wide on a concrete pad area approximately 5.4 feet wide by 22.3 feet long. A total of 100 linear feet of new fencing will be installed behind the City sign to connect with existing perimeter fencing at Wasco State Prison (with one new fence segment extending 50 southerly from the existing fence that parallels the Highway 46 right-of-way).
