Document Description
Stabilization an approximately 33-foot long section of eroded bank. The eroded area will be cleaned out of slough, sloped and backfilled with sand and cement burlap bags. No 4 rebar will be driven vertically through the outer bags and into firm soil foundation at approximately 16-inches on center. Cement blocks will be used to construct a 4-foot high by 33-foot long wall at the toe of the bank so as to upgrade the existing 2-foot, 8-inch high by 33-foot long pitched concrete block wall. All work will be completed by hand using hand tools. Native riparian shrubs, and trees, and oak trees will not be removed. Work will not be required in the wetted portion of the channel.
