Document Description
This project consists of geotechnical investigation for the purpose of gathering data to support preliminary engineering for the CA High-Speed Train Project Merced to Fresno Section. To achieve this, ten exploratory soil borings and one cone penetrometer test sounding will be conducted within public rights-of-way along the proposed Merced to Fresno HST alignment corridor. The data collected during this geotechnical investigation project will be presented and analyzed in a technical report. Immediate beneficiaries of this project will be the CA High-Speed Rail Authority, who will use these data to support continued planning and preliminary engineering design for the proposed HST Project.
