Document Description
The proposed Project is the installation of one modular building consisting of four modular coach units (approximately 3,096 total square feet), which will be used as a field office for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The modular building will be occupied by Department personnel assigned to Parks Bureau East Zone. These deputies provide law enforcement services to Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation facilities. The modular building will replace one existing, dilapidate modular building (approximately 1,392 square feet), which is affected by a leaking roof and extensive mold, exposing its current occupants to significant health risks. Therefore, the proposed Project will improve working conditions for Department personnel assigned to this location. The proposed Project will also install perimeter fencing around a portion of the existing parking area.
