Document Description
The proposed Project involves renovations and tenant improvement to a portion of an existing building. The work area will encompass approximately 168 square feet, and the improvement will include general clean-up interior patching and painting, and the installation of new carpeting. The proposed Project will not increase the existing building square footage, nor will it change the current use of the work area. The work area will be occupied by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. The Department provides law enforcement services to Los Angeles County facilities, including the CHC, and the proposed Project will improve the work area to meet current public health and safety standards, as well as Department space standards. Prior to the proposed Project, the occupancy load of the work area was one. Upon completion of the proposed Project, the occupancy load of the work area will be two.

Upon completion of the proposed Project, the work area will continue to be used as office space, and will meet current standards of public health and safety. Upon completion of the proposed Project, the occupancy load of the work area will increase by one, but will not affect the square footage of the work area. The facility is not located in a sensitive environmental setting. All necessary public services are currently available to the facility.
