Document Description
The project involves removal of accumulated fine sediment from Martin Slough between the Fairway Drive culvert inlet and Campton Road. An approximately three-foot deep low-flow channel will be excavated within sediment-filled portions of the Martin Slough stream channel in order to maintain flows for fish passage and junvenile rearing. Sediment will be excavated using backhoe or excavator situated above the banks of the stream channel. Excavated sediment will be moved to upland locations of sufficient distance from the channel to prevent the material from re-entering the slough.
