Document Description
The project is limited to the dredging of accumulated material in the channel (approximately 135' x 30') in order to access the Meeks Bay Marina. The total area to be dredged is 5300 cubic yards. The channel will be dredged to an elevation of 6219 LTD.
A Turbidity curtain will be placed between the dredged area and the main waters of Lake Tahoe, and will be maintained until turbidity settles out following dredging completion. A clamshell excavator will be operated from a floating barge.
