Document Description
Lease approximately 1,000 square feet of land on the main campus near the West Gate, to Southern California Edison (SCE) for an initial term of 10 years, plus one 5-year extension if mutually agreed to by the parties. The lease would be used by SCE for a fuel cell demonstration project, which would include the installation by SCE of a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell unit capable of producing a base load of 200 net kW of electricity to be fed into the local SCE power grid. The fuel cell (unit) would utilize existing natural gas and water supplies. The project would potentially be decommissioned at the termination of the lease.
