Document Description
The project under consideration is the upgrade of sewage pumping and electrical equipment, motors and related appurtenances of the existing Sewage Lift Station #12 (SLS #12) which more than 40 years old. SLS #12 is an existing sewage lift station facility for the protection of water quality and public health and safety in Lake Arrowhead. The intended operational capacity of the facility will not be changed. The project will result in redundant capacity for reliability as required by the State Water Quality Control Board guidelines. The improvements to the pumping, electrical and mechanical equipment and to the related appurtenances will increase the safety and health protection of the surrounding environment by providing increased reliability through redundant equipment available during extreme wet weather events.
