Document Description
The San Carlos Hillside Trails Plan identifies alignments for proposed trails and provides design standards and construction protocols to City hillside trails. The design standards and construction protocols were designed to ensure that trails developed in San Carlos' hillside parks and open space areas are sited so as to minimize potential impacts to sensitive habitat and species, and constructed and maintained to protect the watershed from erosion. Adoption of the Plan would result in the development of an additional 1.55 miles of trails.
