The applicant has requested to use the property for a new fire station. The proposed fire station would consist of the development of a 2,724 s.f. three-bay building, 1,600 s.f. living quarters, a 1,200 s.f. bay/storage building, a 1,400 s.f. storage building, parking area, driveways and landscaping, a trash enclosure, back-up generator, and 24 s.f. monument sign. The project would also include construction of an on-site sewage disposal system and utility services connections, including the installation of fire hydrants as necessary to conform to Shasta County Development Standards for fire protection.
