The City of San Jose is proposing to implement 12 district stream bank and restoration activities along Upper Penitencia Creek in Alum Rock Par. Proposed activities include two bridge abutment repairs and ten bank repair, flood restoration, and fish passage improvement projects. Several of the specific project elements are intended to restore riparian and aquatic habitat, reduce erosion and sedimentation in the creek and repair damage to historic structures.
